Halloween is around the corner and it is time to start thinking, creating and scaring up decorations for this season! I found these at All People Quilt.
Turn spools into ghouls using embroidery floss, cardstock, and punches. Wrap embroidery floss in your desired color around the spool, covering the beginning of the floss to secure. Continue wrapping until shaft is completely covered or change colors to make stripes. Then add faces cut from cardstock as monstrous details.
These pumpkins take your Halloween decorating for ho-hum to modern! Wrap foam balls with burlap. Wrap black or white ribbon and rickrack accents around the balls, and hold them in place with fabric glue or straight pins. Add a creepy crawler or two to complete the transformation.
Halloween is fast approaching. Let's great creating!
I love both of these. So sweet, simple, and eye-catching. Just remove the spiders and change out the tray for orange or plum and you've got a great Thanksgiving centerpiece.
Love those spools! Dropping in from Thursday Favorites. Would love if you would consider sharing your post with us at the Brag About it Link party - Tuesday Link party that opens Monday at Midnight CST. Hope to see you there! ~Laurie
