DIY Showcase Featured Projects

I had this rusty old bike frame sitting around for years waiting to be refurbished.
I cleaned it up and spent $5 on spray paint.  It took some work to get the flower baskets
to attach well enough to hold pots but success was not an option.

I had to stake it against a tree for extra stability but it still turned out pretty cute.
It still needs more TLC but it's off to a good start.

  16. What a wonderful way to repurpose an old bike frame? And you just know that there are all kinds of folks who have old bikes down in their basement, or shoved in the back of their garage.....I found you because you are the other sponsor this month at Ya Gotta Have a Hobby (my husband is the Jerry of Jerry's Leather and Crafts). I'm looking forward to reading more here - have a great week!

  17. Hi Lynne
Great to meet you. Your husband has some awesome pieces. I have a passion for the old type of tooled leather purses that we had 40 years ago, lol. Showing my age.
