Honey is a wonderful healthier sweetener, but did you know that it’s great for your face. Honey gently removes dirt and impurities without stripping your skin of natural oils, balances oily skin, and moisturizes dry skin.
Honey has many skin benefits. Honey fights inflammation and bacteria on skin. It has healing property which heals wounds and infection on skin. It has moisturizing properties, which help to retain moisture for a long time. Use with raw honey for the greatest benefits.
Honey can be used alone as a face mask. Just wet your fingers before you apply the honey face mask then gently smooth it on your face and neck. Leave on for about 10 minutes, then rinse with warm water.
Honey / Avocado Face Mask for Dry Skin
2 teaspoon fresh mashed avocado
2 teaspoon plain yogurt
2 teaspoon raw honey
Mix ingredients in a small bowl until creamy. Spread the mixture over your face and leave on for 20-30 minutes before washing it off.
The fats in the avocado (avocado is a rich source of natural oils) and yogurt work to deeply moisturize your skin while the lactic acid in the yogurt smooths your skin, refines pores, and stimulates collagen production which helps your skin look smoother and younger.
This sweet and easy honey face mask will nourish and moisture your skin and improve your skin complexion. It is the ideal facial mask for dry skin.
Honey is a very effective moisturizer for skin. It retains moisture making your skin radiant, soft and supple.
Honey's antioxidant properties make it capable to fight against skin damage and skin aging.
