Featured Bloggers

It seems this room is always in a state of being re-decorated.........
I call this room my Bed and Breakfast Room......
Because this is the room that I would love to stay in if I stayed at a Bed and Breakfast......

So I was just perusing my local Walmart aisles like I do pretty much on a weekly basis and I cam across this beautiful gem. I knew I had to have it. I hadn’t made anything with lemon all summer and I knew I had to make something or I’d never forgive myself. I love some of the flavor combinations that you see these days. But I absolutely love adding white chocolate chips to cookies, it has slowly become my signature. This pack comprises the crust to my lemon bars. Yup, you heard that right! Lemon cookie crust and lemon bars, is that enough to make your mouth water yet?

Candy Corn Light Bulb Craft
Ann's Entitled Life

This super cute candy corn light bulb craft that is easy enough for a child to make (with adult supervision). These candy corn light bulbs can be strung on a ribbon as a banner, hung in a window as décor, or set up in on your table on a dish or nestled in popcorn as a centerpiece!

Pumpkin Pie Snack Bites
Strength and Sunshine

Have your pumpkin pie all in one bite. Pumpkin seeds, butter, puree and spice along with whole grain oats, combine to create a healthy allergy-free, gluten-free, and vegan snack bite! Enjoy the flavor of Fall with no baking required!

10 Steps to Empower Your Child Against Bullying
Heaven is Smiling Above

It's that time of year again! Time to go back to school, back to the classroom, back to the playground, back to more responsibility. For many children this is exciting - even if they wish summer could last just a bit longer. For other children, school is a source of great anxiety or may become one because of the prevalence of bullying.

DIY Fertilizer
Hill House Homestead

I have a new idea, a new experiment of sorts. Well new to me anyway - making my own fertilizer, at least my own bone meal. I have always been interested in being self sufficient and one of the best ways to do that is to use what you already have and not run to the store to buy something. I really don't like having to buy fertilizers and I have been thinking of ways to make my own.

RASPBERRY COCONUT BARS
anniesnoms

These Raspberry Coconut Bars are super simple to make and with their shortbread base, raspberry jam middle and desiccated coconut topping, they are a combination of sweet, crunchy and tart in one portable dessert!

Mini Apple Cheesecakes | The Perfect Portion Control!
Moms Need To Know

Desserts are always a big weakness of mine so whenever I can, I try to make them in individual serving sizes. I am sure many many people have more willpower than I do, but if I am cutting a cheesecake, it is just too easy to cut a larger slice and over-indulge!

Banana Walnut Bread Muffin Recipe
Flavours & Frosting

Awhile ago I posted my banana loaf recipe topped with honey & walnuts. Today´s recipe is that exact same banana loaf  but this time I added the walnuts in the batter and baked it in a muffin tin- Hence the title: Banana Walnut Bread Muffin Recipe!  Did I mentioned that they are topped with a salted caramel and cream cheese mixture?

WRITE AN ABOUT ME PAGE THAT ROCKS
Krafty Owl

One of the most important things you can do when you start a blog is write a great About Me page. It’s the place your readers go to find out more about you and your blog. Its bound to be one of the most highly viewed pages and will leave a lasting impression with new and returning readers.

Holy-Moly Chicken
Best of Long Island and Central Florida

I found and adapted this recipe. It's from  The Jackson Sun. I found the recipe by accident when looking for Superbowl recipes. We don't even watch the Superbowl but Carol's team was in it and at one point she was thinking of having a party.  I did find a good recipe and you are going to LOVE it!
