Easy DIY Doily Wall Art from The Gold Lining Girl
I’m a serious crafter at heart. Pretty sure it’s genetic. My Grandma used to paint ceramics, do embroidery, and do latch hook rugs and wall hangings. My mother dabbles in a little of everything and you never know what she’s up to. Her latest endeavor is collecting seashells and beach glass at the shores of Lake Erie to decorate wood picture frames. You can’t walk into a little shop or boutique without her pointing out 3 or 4 items saying, “We could make that!” Crafting is truly a family affair because even my older brother has been known to participate on occasion!

Halloween Cupcakes from Working Mom Magic
I have a slight cupcake obsession. I think decorating cupcakes is such a fun activity to do with kids, so we usually end up doing some sort of cupcake for each and every holiday. When my son was younger he was never really into craft projects, but when it came to decorating cookies or cupcakes he was always game. Every kid knows that once you decorate food, you get to eat it. Duh.

Growing Up Music: Third Eye Blind Jumper Lyrics Speak to Suicide from That's Mashed Up
Have you ever had to be the voice of reason to a friend in need who was slipping into a dangerous mental place? I have. You have to look at them and tell them that you wished they’d “step back from that ledge”. Sometimes you can’t make them turn around and stop, or change their thinking pattern. There is a whole profession dedicated to that because helping a suicidal person in the long run is a skill and an art. However, sometimes all you need is to have them take just one step back, so to speak. That could mean the difference between having the time and space to get them professional help, and not.

Coffee Flan w/ Cajeta Caramel from FabiFabu
This flan is made like a custard, with plenty of eggs: 6 wholes ones and 8 yolks. It has a rich coffee flavor, and you add the coffee raw like in “cafe de olla”, to the sweet milk mix. I had made coffee flan before, but not this way, so I decided to give it a try. The original recipe is from Chef Rick Bayless, “TV show about Mexican food”, Mexico, One Plate at a Time and yes, I`m a fan.

Perfect Fall Breakfast: Pumpkin-Ricotta French Toast Roll-ups from The Athletic Avocado
The flavor of pumpkin means fall and with the best season for baking coming around, I knew I just had to make this french toast roll-up flavor. French toast roll-ups are amazing, but even more amazing with a pumpkin ricotta filling. Full of fiber and protein , these are the perfect fall breakfast. Eat them with a hot cup of coffee and watch the leaves fall, ain’t Nothing better than that.

What Is A Lifestyle Blogger from Laina Turner
I am in the process of rebranding and redesigning my blog because I’m ready to take it to the next level. The launch is December 1st and even though I’ve been working on it since May; I can’t believe it’s only 6 weeks away and there is still so much to do. Freaking out just a little (ok a lot) but I tend to be one of those people who work best under pressure. At least that’s what I’m telling myself.

The perks of a morning run from Mom's Home Run
I'm a morning runner. And I like it. In fact I'd hate to have to run later on in the day.

French Toast Bites from With Vintage and Me
I think these have to be one of my favourite breakfasts at the moment. They are simple to make and just use a few ingredients. I used a loaf of home-made bread that I had baked the day before. I cut it into nice thick slices and then into bite size pieces. You cover them in an egg and milk mix then brown in a frying pan. Once cooked they get covered in a sugar and cinnamon mix. The first two bites didn’t make it to the plate as I had to test them!

Cookie Flooding Decorating Technique with Sugar Cookie Cutouts from The Gold Lining Girl
I can’t contain my excitement about today’s subject. This method of cookie decorating is my favorite. If there’s an occasion where you really want to impress, and make beautiful and elegant cookies, try cookie flooding.

Creative Ways To Say Thank You (And Gift Ideas To Go With Them) from Shambray
I am a HUGE fan of thank you! I think it is important and who doesn't like to feel appreciated. Sometimes a quick verbal thank you is fantastic. There is always a text, "Thanks so much!" A handwritten thank you note can make anyone's day, but today I am sharing some creative ways to say thank you.
