Time to Rise & Shine

    What are you expecting in 2014?

I believe God meets people at the level of their expectation. Every promise Jesus made, every encouragement from Jesus, every command Jesus uttered was really a promise for great expectations. Over and over again, Jesus encourages us to pray and use language like:  ask and ye shall receive; seek and ye shall find; knock and it shall be opened unto you.  For everyone who keeps on asking receives; everyone that keeps on seeking finds; and everyone who just keeps on knocking, that door will be opened.  Jesus is saying? I will meet you at the level of your expectation. 

What are you expecting God to do in your life?  Are you insulting God with living in low levels of expectation? What do you expect God to do in your life, your home life?   Whatever the situation is; God will meet you at the level of your expectation. What did you expect God to do this morning when you woke up and got out of bed.  What proclamation did you speak over your day?  If you got up expecting little or nothing to happen, I promise you that you probably will not be disappointed.  God will meet you on your level of expectation.  The "Son's gonna Rise and Shine".

How much do you expect God to do.  Paul says, "God is able to do exceeding abundantly above not only all that you ask but all that you imagine (all your mind can conceive).  What can you conceive or imagine God doing in your life?  Read it again and meditate on these words for a moment:  God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that you ask or can even imagine! If you believe God's word then why do you keep imagining the worst and dreaming little dreams.  

Think about what God needs to do in your life whatever your problem.  Is your situation more difficult than raising someone from the dead?  If He can raise the dead don't you think He would have the power to fix your problem? God tells us that when the devil has done his worst in your life, Remember HIS resurrection power.  He will give you double for your trouble if you only believe He can and He will.  The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is still available today and it's waiting for you to ask and believe.  You don't have to drown in your troubles.  Stop looking down and look UP.  Stop looking at your problem and look at the problem solver and release His power in your life. God has placed resurrection power at your disposal.  Time to Rise and Shine.  
   If you choose to you can break the ties that bind you to old habits and old thinking.  The only limit of what God will do in your life is your willingness and cooperation to allow God to work through you.  What are you expecting God to do for you today?
