I'm so proud of you for the journey you have had and for where you are today. You have restored my hope. I lost it due to the high intense physical pain I have been in for the last 3 years. Pain has taken me to a pretty dark place at times. But after the post you did on your hands, it touched the very depths of my soul as I, too, was abused many different ways. I wanted to personally Thank you for baring that part of your history with us.

ReplyDeleteHi! I love the ocean, or in my case the Gulf of Mexico, too. It's only about a 25 minute drive from me. Shabby chic is my favorite also. I'm currently decorating my first divorcee apartment in that manner. Lots of florals and pastels. So much fun!

ReplyDeleteYou rock and so does your blog. Where do you find all your energy? Beautiful baby boy - mine is almost 26. I am not sure where the time went. I have a feeling I don't need to tell you to cherish every moment because of all of your energy, creativity and loving nature, you are and always will be a fantastic mom! I look forward to reading your blog znd looking at your crafts. Both my mom and my grandmom could sew anything. They could see an outfit abd recreate it withoug a pattern. They refused to teach me or my sister to sew and I still regret that I can't sew and I just turned 60.

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful sewing/crafting room. I have an upstairs bedroom that I'd love to turn into such a room. I don't sew much anymore, but have a new Cricut Explore Air and can't wait to start making things with it. When my twin daughters were young, I enjoyed French hand sewing by machine and hand smocking; I also liked making costumes for them.

ReplyDeleteI love to see happy family pictures with the little ones in them. I was never able to have kids. So I am the best and favorite aunt of all my friends and family. It also did not hurt that they could have a free babysitter that they knew and love. Never having to worry about all the little things a parents think when a teenager is left in charge of the babies. Yea Me.

Someday I'll have a room like that lol. Nothing wrong with loving to ride a Harley. I've rode a few myself. I myself hate snow. I think it's because I've dealt with it all my life. I'm at that point where give me sunshine and gardening year round please. Maybe I'll be a snow bird and leave this frigid state we call Maine some day.
